Morena Baccarin promoted to series regular for Gotham season 2

May 14, 2015 by Gary Collinson

This won’t come as much of a surprise given her level of involvement in the latter half of the first season, but Morena Baccarin has officially been promoted to a series regular for the second season of Fox’s Batman prequel series Gotham, which is set to get underway in the fall.

Baccarin joined the first season as Dr. Leslie Thompkins, serving as a love interest for Ben McKenzie’s Detective Jim Gordon. The actress is currently shooting another comic book-related project, portraying Copycat in Fox’s Deadpool, while she also lends her voice to Gideon in The CW’s The Flash.
