Gal Gadot and Elodie Yung testing for Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman, The Flash “a lock” to appear

November 8, 2013 by admin

Earlier this week, it was rumoured that Olga Kurylenko (Oblivion) is set to test for the role of the female lead in Zack Snyder’s upcoming Man of Steel sequel Batman vs. Superman, and now Variety has revealed that both Gal Gadot (Fast & Furious 6) and Elodie Yung (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) will also read for the part, “which appears to be the role of Diana Prince, a.k.a. Wonder Woman.”

According to Variety, Thor: The Dark World star Jaimie Alexander is out of the running due to her commitments to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while the site goes on to add (or speculate?) that “several members” of the Justice League will appear alongside Henry Cavill’s Superman and Ben Affleck’s Batman, with Wonder Woman and The Flash “said to be locks to make an appearance in some fashion, whether that’s a significant role or a cameo.”

What are your thoughts on the actresses said to be testing for the role of the Amazon Princess? Let us know in the comments below…
