Last week we learnt that Emma Watson is to play Belle in the upcoming live action remake of Beauty and the Beast, and now it is being rumoured that Ryan Gosling will play the role of the Beast, according to the Tracking Board.
Beauty and the Beast is one of the many live-action Disney remakes happening at the moment. Jon Faverau is currently directing The Jungle Book and the live action Cinderella movie helmed by Kenneth Branagh is set for release this March.
Production on Beauty and the Beast will start this year and the film is being helmed by Bill Condon. The movie is currently without a release date.
