Marvel Cinematic Universe crosses $9 billion at the global box office

Thanks to Ant-Man’s success in China, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become the first franchise in history to cross $9 billion at the worldwide box office, with its twelve releases having pulled in a whopping $9.0186 billion and counting.

Via Box Office Mojo, here’s the list of MCU films, ranked by highest grossing:

The Avengers – $1.519 billion
Avengers: Age of Ultron – $1.402 billion
Iron Man 3 – $1.215 billion
Guardians of the Galaxy – $774.2 million
Captain America: The Winter Soldier – $714.8 million
Thor: The Dark World – $644.8 million
Iron Man 2 – $623.9 million
Iron Man – $585.2 million
Ant-Man – $454.7 million
Thor – $449.3 million
Captain America: The First Avenger – $370.6 million
The Incredible Hulk – $263.4 million
