Channing Tatum joins Kingsman: The Golden Circle

April 14, 2016 by Robert Kojder

Did Matthew Vaughn just find his rumored American spy for Kingsman: The Golden Circle?

The Hollywood Reporter states that Channing Tatum has joined the cast in an undisclosed role that could range from anything to a cameo, to playing himself, to taking on a more meaty supporting character position.

Production on Kingsman: The Golden Circle begins in London sometime during May, as the much clamored for sequel continues the story of Eggsy (Taron Egerton), a young hoodlum lad turned gentleman spy operative.

Kingsman: The Secret Service will reunite director Matthew Vaughn with stars Taron Egerton, Mark Strong and Edward Holcroft, while Colin Firth may also return in some capacity. Julianne Moore (Still Alice), Halle Berry (Extant) and Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones) have also signed on to appear, with Elton John also up for a role.
