Josh Brolin says Deadpool 2 is funnier than the first movie

July 17, 2017 by Robert Kojder

With production on Deadpool 2 having recently got underway, Good Morning America took the opportunity to ask Josh Brolin (who’s portrayal of fan favorite character Cable is eagerly anticipated) about the upcoming blockbuster sequel.

“There’s a lot of stuff going on in Deadpool that’s very surprising and that will be very satisfying when you see it,” said Brolin. “To me it’s even funnier than the first one … I read it and I laughed harder than I’ve laughed in a very long time, so it’s funny.”

When asked, Brolin also mentioned that he does not reference his Avengers: Infinity War ultra-baddie Thanos at all in the Deadpool sequel. That’s honestly a bit surprising as it seems like low hanging fruit difficult to resist for those writing the script.
