Earlier this month Ron Howard announced that his A Beautiful Mind star Paul Bettany had joined the cast of Lucasfilm’s Han Solo Star Wars spinoff, and now it seems he’s wrapped his filming on the Anthology movie, with Howard marking the occasion by sharing the following photo from the set of the movie…

We do of course have no idea as to who Bettany is playing in the movie, or how his character will fit into the story, although it has been said that he’s stepped in as a replacement for Michael K. Williams, who was unable to take part in the reshoots due to scheduling issues.

Han Solo stars Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caesar!) as the famous smuggler, Donald Glover (Atlanta) as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson (War for the Planet of the Apes) as Beckett (Solo’s mentor), Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag), Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), Thandie Newton (Westworld), Paul Bettany (Avengers: Infinity War), Ian Kenny (Sing Street), and Warwick Davis (Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi) in as-yet-unrevealed roles. It is set for release on May 25th 2018.
