Superman dons his black suit in behind-the-scenes photo from Arrowverse crossover ‘Elseworlds’

October 15, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

With filming on this year’s Arrowverse crossover currently taking place, Arrow star Stephen Amell has taken to social media to share a behind the scenes image from ‘Elseworlds’ featuring the Green Arrow himself along with co-stars Grant Gustin (The Flash) and Tyler Hoechlin (Superman).

As you’ll notice immediately, the guest-starring Man of Steel is sporting a very different look to his previous Supergirl appearances in his classic red and blue. Yes, it’s the fan favourite black suit!

So, could this mean we’re in for a ‘Death and Return of Superman’-style story in the crossover? Is this an ‘Elseworlds’ alternate Earth version of the Man of Steel? Or has Superman just fancied freshening up his look for the big team up? Let us know what you think in the comments below…

‘Elseworlds’ begins with The Flash on December 9th, followed by Arrow on December 10th and Supergirl on December 11th. In additon to Hoechlin, the three-parter will also feature guest appearances from Ruby Rose (Batwoman), Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois Lane), Cassandra Jean Amell (Nora Fries) and Jeremy Davis (Dr. John Deegan).
