Following a poster for Godzilla: King of the Monsters featuring the titular legendary Kaiju, Warner Bros. has released three new characters posters for the MonsterVerse sequel featuring Godzilla’s iconic foes King Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra; check them out here…
Meanwhile, speaking to Bloody Disgusting, director Michael Dougherty has revealed that – unlike Gareth Edwards first movie – they’ll be holding nothing back this time around when it comes to giant monster action:
“We have a lot of monsters. I think Gareth [Edwards] had a lot of fun playing cat-and-mouse and I love the slow-build he created. But we definitely take the gloves off for this film. No holding back.”
Godzilla: King of the Monsters follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species — thought to be mere myths — rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
