Lucasfilm has announced that it will host a Star Wars: Episode IX panel at next month’s Star Wars Celebration Chicago, at which point it’s expected we’ll get our first look at what is being billed as “the final chapter of the Skywalker saga”.
The panel will take place on Friday, April 12th, with Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and director J.J. Abrams in attendance. Further guests on the panel are yet to be confirmed.
Lucasfilm has previously announced that Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance and the returning Star Wars: The Clone Wars will all have panels at Celebration, as will the upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game from EA. It’s also expected that the Disney+ TV series The Mandalorian will have a presence.
