Indie developer Hello Games and publisher 505 Games have announced that the free No Man’s Sky: BEYOND update will be released on 14th August on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC. This seventh large free update will combine three major updates into one epic update, including a new social and multiplayer experience No Man’s Sky Online. Among the new features in BEYOND is No Man’s Sky Online, a multiplayer mode which will enable players everywhere in the game universe to meet and play together. For those platforms that support VR there will also be the introduction of No Man’s Sky Virtual Reality, providing an immersive and enriched experience.
BEYOND launches just over a year after the incredibly well received NEXT update, and is actually much bigger in terms of size. This latest update from the immensely talented team over at Hello Games includes all-new Social, Multiplayer and Virtual Reality Experiences.
No Man’s Sky provides players with the opportunity to explore a whole galaxy filled with stars, and unique planets swarming with different types of lifeforms. Players will be able to fly through an infinite procedurally generated universe and discover planets and creatures without any loading screens.
