Kit Harington reveals favourite Game of Thrones scene with Emilia Clarke

October 16, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Kit Harington, one of the stars of Game of Thrones, has revealed his favourite ever scene with Emilia Clarke.

Jon Snow and Daenerys spent a lot of time together during the latter parts of Game of Thrones, with their coming together being a massive moment for the show and for fans.

Kit Harington discussed the strangeness of knowing Emilia Clarke for years and never having shared a scene with her when he revealed his favourite scene between Dany and Jon at ACE Comic Con (via ComicBook.com):

“We had obviously known each other for a long time but lived in completely separate worlds in this universe that we were in. What was really exciting was that first scene when Jon walks into the Dragonstone throne room and sees her for the first time. This isn’t a world where you have Facebook and Twitter and Instagram, like, he’s never seen this woman before, Daenerys, but he’s heard about her, the Dragon Queen. For us, for me and Emilia, it was really exciting because we had been friends for six years and seen each other’s work, but never got to meet.”

It was always unlikely that Harington would state the scene where Jon killed Dany as his favourite but the one he chose here is still a good one! It was certainly a massive moment in the series.
