Arctic Pack PDLC arrives for Planet Zoo

December 17, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Planet Zoo players can now get their zoo looking all wintery and festive with the new Arctic Pack PDLC.  This first PDLC pack features four new animals, two scenarios and hundreds of foliage and scenery pieces.  All this new content and the adorable arctic animals can be seen in the new trailer below…

The Arctic Pack introduces 4 new animals to the game: the Arctic Wolf, the hardy Dall Sheep, the mighty Polar Bear and the ever-popular Reindeer.  These 4 species join the impressive list of habitat animals available to players.  As with the other animals, these new additions can be bred and their habitats enriched with plenty of new arctic themed scenery pieces.

Those who purchase this new DLC pack will also have access to two new arctic themed scenarios that will provide a series of challenges allowing players to focus on expanding and maintaining their existing zoos, ensuring animal welfare while educating and entertaining guests.

Also releasing alongside this pack is a free update that provides a range of new features, including a new aging slider to slow the animal life-cycle, the addition of family members to the animal info panel, new nature assets and enrichment items, and new heat maps highlighting situations such as crime and inbreeding.

The Arctic Pack DLC is available now on Steam, priced £7.99 / $9.99 / €9.99.
