January 8, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players have the opportunity to take part in a series of new in-game events this January as developers Portkey Games celebrate the New Year by reminding us of the legacy left behind by one of the greatest wizards of all time, Albus Dumbledore.

During the rest of the month players will be able to take part in several in-game events including:

Frosty Foundable Event: 7th – 14th January

  • Get ready to face the cold and help free Foundables that have become trapped in the frosty clutches of Ice Confoundables.

January Community Day: 18th January

  • Uncover the secrets of the Room of Requirement Registry Page by returning Wonders of the Wizarding World, such as the Foe Glass and the formidable Whomping Willow.

Darkest of Times Brilliant Event Part 1: 21st – 28th January

  • Remember Professor Dumbledore by returning Brilliant Foundables including Dumbledore and Fawkes.

February will also see the arrival of the second part of the Darkest of Times Brilliant Event.  This continuation of the event will have players honour Dumbledore’s legacy by returning Brilliant Foundables related to key memories of the fight against Voldemort, including the Pensieve.

Channel the wisdom and perseverance that Dumbledore embodied and take part in the fun this January.
