Parasite named Film of the Year at the 2020 London Critics’ Circle Film Awards

The winners of the 2020 London Critics’ Circle Film Awards were announced last night, with Boon Joon Ho’s dark comedy Parasite taking home the top honour, Film of the Year, along with Director the Year.

Also collecting two awards apiece were The Souvenir (British/Irish Film of the Year and Young British/Irish Performer of the Year for Honor Swinton Byrne) and Marriage Story (Screenwriter of the Year for Noah Baumbach and Supporting Actress of the Year for Laura Dern), while the acting honours saw more wins for Joaquin Phoenix (Joker) and Renee Zellweger (Judy), as well as a Supporting Actor of the Year away for Joe Pesci for The Irishman.
