February 25, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

Following hot on the heels of The Huntress statue, Sideshow has now released promotional images for another of Kotobukiya’s 1:7 scale Birds of Prey Bishoujo Series collectibles in Dinah Lance, a.k.a. the Black Canary, with the statue available to pre-order now, priced at $89.99.

This Gotham City defender has a unique origin story as the second generation of a vigilante family succeeding her mother. Black Canary appears in this BISHOUJO statue rendition showcasing her wild and sexy nature by illustrator Shunya Yamashita!

Be sure to pay attention to how her shining blond hair, fishnet stockings, and leather jacket are paired with her innocent-looking expression. Armed with her sonic scream “canary cry” that can take down large trucks and smash bulletproof glass, she sweeps all street gangs off their feet! The base that she can be seen standing on is designed to reflect the rippling ultrasonic waves due to her special ability. This second edition statue features a renewed base and package.
