TMNT: Mutant Madness arrives on Android and iOS

September 17, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Mobile game developer Kongregate and Nickelodeon have announced the release of TMNT: Mutant Madness on Google Play and the App Store.  Based on the classic 1980’s cartoon series, TMNT: Mutant Madness continues where the heroes in half shells left off all those years ago.

TMNT: Mutant Madness combines RPG and idle elements and takes players to the sewers of New York where they will take on the series’ classic villains and enemies in exciting real-time combat.

A deep character collection system will allow players to build up their dream squad and take on powerful enemies in PvE or other players in PvP battles. Players will be able to use character’s ‘Super Skills’ to have a powerful effect during combat.

“Our team in Chicago has done an amazing job building franchises for Kongregate, with their smash CCG hit Animation Throwdown: The Quest for Cards and now TMNT: Mutant Madness,” said Markus Lipp, CFO and Interim CEO at Kongregate. “We know fans will love the engaging combat in Mutant Madness and the deep collection systems. We can’t stop playing and know they won’t either. I’m very excited to continue bringing our uniquely ‘Kongregate’ creativity to the mobile games market through our growing franchise titles!”

“Kongregate’s innovative approach to creating a new take on the TMNT universe captures the excitement and nostalgia of the franchise in a new way,” said Adrian Wright, VP Games, Nickelodeon. “With TMNT: Mutant Madness, players have the opportunity to collect and play with fan-favorite classic characters in an engaging gameplay experience.”

Visit Google Play or the App Store now and start building up your own totally rad’ squad of heroes and villains now.
