Katee Sackhoff wants Ahsoka Tano and Bo-Katan to interact in The Mandalorian

November 18, 2020 by Samuel Brace

Katee Sackhoff, who plays Bo-Katan in The Mandalorian, says she would like to see her interact with Ahsoka Tano on the show.

Season two of The Mandalorian has seen some big moments so far, including the return of some beloved characters. The latest character to arrive was Bo-Katan, the leader of the Mandalorians who is on a mission to retake the Darksaber from Moff Gideon.

In her live-action debut, the character tells Din to go see Ahsoka Tano, teasing the live-action debut of yet another character in the form of this beloved former-Jedi. Both characters made their debut in Star Wars: The Clone Wars so it’s exciting that both will now make the transition to live-action.

But will Bo-Katan and Ahsoka get to share screen time on The Mandalorian? They have a history together so it would make sense. Speaking to ET, Sackhoff expressed her desire to see it happen:

“I love the character from [Star Wars: The] Clone Wars and [Star Wars] Rebels so I would love to see her. There’s a lot of history with those two. There’s a lot of story there. There’s a lot of comradery and respect, but there’s also a lot of pain and distrust. So we’ll see what happens.”

It’s possible that Sackhoff is merely trying not to spoil anything as, of course, she would know if the two characters meet this season. Or perhaps this is her way of saying it doesn’t happen in season two.

Ahsoka is being played by Rosario Dawson. Hopefully, it’s not too long before we get to see her, maybe even as early as this Friday as Din is seemingly on the way to meet her – though a pit-stop isn’t unlikely.

The Mandalorian season two sees Pedro Pascal (Din Djarin), Gina Carano (Cara Dune), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) and Bill Burr (Mayfield) joined by new cast additions Temuera Morrison (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones), Katee Sackhoff (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Timothy Olyphant (Justified), Michael Biehn (The Terminator) and WWE Superstar Sasha Banks.

The Mandalorian season two airs on Fridays on Disney+.
