Healing Spree to bring wacky hospital hijinx to Steam later this year

February 25, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Developer Paro will be bringing some hospital hilarity to Steam later this year with their latest title Healing Spree.  This tongue-in-cheek hospital sim will have players healing patients as quickly as they can through a number of chaotic situations with co-op fun for up to 4 players.  Those who want to join in the over-the-top chaos experienced by our wonderful hospital staff can join the game’s Discord server for the chance to play the Closed Beta.  See the Closed Beta trailer below…

With hospitals short staffed and an assortment of medical emergencies clogging up the waiting rooms, it’s time for players to don their white coats and stethoscopes and treat as many patients as possible with their friends.  Learn how to use a variety of medical equipment, and master the art of diagnosing patients conditions then put all these skills together and save as many lives as possible….. while at the same time crashing into friends and destroying their work.

Featuring:

  • Play with up to 4 friends online or in local co-op mode.
  • Diagnose, treat and save patient’s lives.
  • Lift up and throw things through windows or across rooms.
  • Explore different physics-based maps.
  • Annoy friends with an assortment of useful items such as flamethrowers, cans from a vending machine and even body bags.

“We know that 2020 was a tough year for everyone. Healing Spree attempts to inject some humor when we need it most, while paying homage to health professionals everywhere. While wacky and totally unrealistic, the game highlights the frantic pace of healthcare – betting on fun co-op gameplay and welcoming visuals to start (and end!) friendships on a daily basis. Anyone who’s interested in helping to make Healing Spree even better can join the Discord server and start playing the closed beta today!” – Ingo Lau (Founder, Paro)

Healing Spree will be available later this year on Steam.  Add it to your Wishlist now!
