Alba: A Wildlife Adventure coming to consoles next week

June 1, 2021 by Andrew Newton

After a successful launch on PC and Apple Arcade, developers of Monument Valley and Assemble with Care, Ustwo Games, has announced that their third-person exploration game Alba: A Wildlife Adventure will release on Xbox One/ Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch on 9th June.  A new announcement trailer can be seen below.

Set on the island of Pinar Del Mar, a location inspired by the development team’s fond childhood memories of the Spanish coast, players take the role of Alba, a young girl who is visiting her grandparents.  With her love of nature Alba is excited at the prospect of a relaxing and peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines but when she discovers plans to ruin the idyllic island with a garish hotel on the site of the island’s nature reserve, it is up to her to stop it.

Players can explore the sun-soaked island with its farms, forests, beaches and more and see how many of the 60+ animals you can find. Take photographs of animals, people and places, seek out rare animals, locate lost pets, repair broken bird houses and much more. Small actions can make a big difference.

Look out for Alba: A Wildlife Adventure arriving on consoles on Thursday 9th June.
