Batgirl wraps filming with new look at Leslie Grace in costume

A new live-action Batgirl is heading to the DC Extended Universe courtesy of Warner Bros. and DC Films, and actress Leslie Grace (In the Heights) – who is set to take on the iconic role of Barbara Gordon – has taken to social media to announce that filming has wrapped on the HBO Max Original movie.

Check out Grace’s video from the set below, as well as a behind-the-scenes image of the star in full Batgirl costume alongside the film’s directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys For Life)…

Batgirl is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah (Bad Boys For Life) and stars Leslie Grace (In the Heights) as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, J.K. Simmons (Justice League) as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Micheal Keaton (The Flash) as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Brendan Fraser (Doom Patrol) as Firefly, Ivory Aquino (When They See Us) as Alysia Yeoh and Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for Life), Rebecca Front (Avenue 5), Corey Johnson (Morbius) and Ethan Kai (Killing Eve) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.

Batgirl is set to premiere directly on HBO Max as an HBO Max Original.
