LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga out now, launch trailer released

April 5, 2022 by Andrew Newton

It’s the day that LEGO Star Wars fans have been waiting for as Warner Bros. Games, TT Games and the LEGO Group announce the release of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga on Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch and PC.  Featuring all nine films in one brand new game, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga features the biggest roster of vehicles and characters of any Star Wars LEGO game to date, plus there’s a large array of planets to explore and all with the brand of humour we have come to love from TT Games.  Enjoy the new launch trailer below….

The LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga takes players on an epic adventure through the nine films and allows them to start off from the beginning of any trilogy, including The Phantom Menace, A New Hope or The Force Awakens.

Players will be able to chart their course through the saga using the holoprojector showing the galactic map.  As players progress they will unlock more planets that they can then explore.  Exploration of these new worlds, including Naboo, Coruscant and Jakku, will reward players with Kyber Bricks that can used to unlock new features and upgraded abilities across a range of character classes, including Jedi, Dark Side, Bounty Hunter, Droid etc.

Space travel will see players take the pilot seat of legendary vehicles such as the Millennium Falcon, Imperial TIE fighters or X-Wings but when on foot they can play as iconic characters like Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Leia, Yoda and more than 300 other characters.

“With LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, we are giving players an all-new LEGO Star Wars experience with the freedom to explore the galaxy like never before,” said Jonathan Smith, Strategic Director and Head of Production, TT Games. “Whether they are existing fans of the franchise or discovering it for the first time, everyone will enjoy the epic story of all nine films with all the humor and charm that LEGO games bring.”

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is available now on PC and consoles.
