Sci-fi roguelike strategy Trigon: Space Story releasing this month on Steam and Epic Games Store

Gameforge and developer Sernur.tech will be releasing their sci-fi roguelike strategy game Trigon: Space Story on Steam and the Epic Games Store on 28th April.  Players will get the chance to explore the galaxy but will need to strategise and make the right tactical decisions as death is permanent in the cold vacuum of space.  Watch the new trailer below for a glimpse of the galaxy you’ll be stepping into.

In Trigon: Space Story players will become the captain of their very own starship, one that is fully customisable and where everything from maintaining weapon systems and engines to sorting out the crew must be managed.  Captains will be able to play from the perspective of four unique species, each of which with their own advantages and quirks. There’s more than 100 different types of weapons to install on the ship ranging from laser turrets to plasma cannons, all of which will come in useful in fending off the roving gangs of space pirates and other space-faring nastiness.

A procedurally generated universe will be available for players to explore, this consists of nine sectors with each containing ten or more individual systems.  Thanks to this unpredictable universe players can be guaranteed of a new adventure with every single run through.

Trigon: Space Story features:

  • Lead and inspire the crew, make death-defying decisions and craft a kick ass ship.
  • Equip the ship with more than 100 types of weapons including lasers, turrets, plasma cannons, bombs, drones and more.
  • Exploration will lead to making contact with new species that will have their own unique qualities.  Say hello to the warmongering militant Rakhi or the crafty and tenacious Earthlings.
  • Make life and death decisions, pillage the damaged ship or rescue its crew? The decision is up to the player to make.
  • A procedurally generated universe ensures no run is ever the same and encourages players to learn, adapt and make new strategies.

Trigon: Space Story arrives on Steam and the Epic Games Store on 28th April.
