Katie Holmes-directed Rare Objects gets a poster and trailer

IFC Films has released a trailer and poster for writer-director Katie Holmes’ upcoming drama Rare Objects.

An adaptation of Kathleen Tessaro’s novel of the same name, the film centres on Benita (Julia Mayorga), a young woman seeking to rebuild her life and reclaim her own sense of self.

Joining Mayorga and Holmes in the cast of the film are Derek Luke, Alan Cumming, and David Alexander Flinn. Watch the trailer below…

 

Rare Objects is a story about friendship that centers around a young woman who reclaims her own sense of self through her journey of self discovery that involves a new job, new friends and healing.

Rare Objects arrives in cinemas and On Demand on April 14th.
