Samuel Goldwyn Films has released a trailer for The Outlaw Johnny Black, the upcoming western comedy from the makers of the 2009 cult classic Black Dynamite.
The film is directed by Michael Jai White, who also stars as Johnny Black, a wanted man who is forced to go into hiding as a preacher in a small mining town after vowing to gun down the man who killed his father.
Hell bent on avenging the death of his father, Johnny Black vows to gun down Brett Clayton and becomes a wanted man in the process. He goes into hiding, posing as a preacher in a small mining town that’s been taken over by a notorious Land Baron.
Joining Michael Jai White in the cast of The Outlaw Johnny Black are Anika Noni Rose, Erica Ash, Byron Minns, Kym Whitley, and Tony Baker.
The Outlaw Johnny Black arrives in cinemas on September 15th.
