Ray Fisher interested in starring as Cyborg in a DCEU Teen Titans movie

May 22, 2018 by Samuel Brace

Ray Fisher has revealed that he is open to reprising his role as Cyborg in a DCEU Teen Titans movie.

WB’s DC cinematic universe has changed quite a bit from its initial conception. Due to certain films underperforming, announced movies in the DCEU have suffered setbacks and some have been canned altogether.

Fisher’s Cyborg, who made a significant appearance in Justice League, might not be getting his own movie anymore but the actor is certainly open to appearing in other DC offerings, including a potential Teen Titans movie.

Appearing at Wizard World Philadelphia, Fisher responded to a question on if he would be interested in the prospect (via ComicBook.com): “I mean, nothing is off the table, really.”

Fisher went on to say that his priority is finding good stories, wherever they may be:

“It’s like, stories with consequence actually really appeal to me, where characters are going through recognizable struggle that I see in everyday life. So if that translates to Titans or a Cyborg standalone or Justice League 2, as long as that’s there, I’m sold, man. I’m good with anything.”

Whether or not a Teen Titans movie comes together – nothing is certain in the DCEU – it will be interesting to see where Cyborg ends up next.
