Channing Tatum and LeBron James team up on action comedy Public Enemy

May 24, 2018 by Ricky Church

In some surprising news, Channing Tatum (21 Jump Street) and NBA all-star LeBron James are teaming up together to produce Public Enemy, an action comedy that will come from New Line Cinema.

Written by Lucas Carter, the film is being described as subversive action comedy that looks at the speed of media in our current landscape.

James will produce with Maverick Carter through their SpringHill Entertainment banner while Tatum will produce through Free Association alongside Reid Carolin and Peter Kiernan. It is unknown right now if both will star in the film or merely take producing roles for the action comedy or when the film will begin production.

LeBron James has recently signed on to produce a remake of House Party, and also remains attached to Space Jam 2.
