Vin Diesel shares first official image from Bloodshot movie

January 16, 2019 by Gary Collinson

Vin Diesel has taken to Instagram to share an official image from Sony’s Valiant comic book adaptation Bloodshot, the first instalment of a planned cinematic universe, which features Vin Diesel as Ray Garrison.

At least we think it is. It may just be Vin turning up on set, or making his way to the gym or something. Check it out here…

Presumably, the above photo features a pre-Bloodshot Ray Garrison, who will eventually find himself granted superhuman strength, speed, agility and healing thanks to state of the art nanotechnology, before being recruited to hunt down super-powered ‘Harbingers’.

Bloodshot is being directed by visual effects supervisor Dave Wilson (Avengers: Age of Ultron) from a script by Eric Heisserer (Arrival) and Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare), and also features a cast that includes Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four), Eiza Gonzalez (Baby Driver), Guy Pearce (The Catcher Was a Spy), Sam Heughan (Outlander), Talulah Riley (Westworld), Johannes Haukur Johannesson (Game of Thrones), Lamorne Morris (Game Night) and Alex Hernandez (UnReal). It is set for release on February 21st 2020.
