Psychedelic rhythm game Vectronom coming to Steam and Nintendo Switch this Spring

January 30, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Publisher ARTE and developer Ludopium have announced that they will be bringing Vectronom, an innovative, rhythm based 3D platformer to Steam for PC and Mac and Nintendo Switch this Spring.  Check out the new trailer below to see the hopping cube dance to the rhythm…

In Vectronom players take control of a cube that hops to the beat of the music and will need to memorise patterns and solve environment specific riddles to complete each level.  As our cube progresses through the levels the obstacles will change in sync with the music providing a bigger challenge.

The game features:

  • A challenging single player campaign.
  • An original electronic beat and a colorful, dynamic art style on every level.
  • Play with friends via a local, drop in/drop out multiplayer.
  • Create wonderfully wacky levels using curated beats with a Level Editor then challenge the world with your creation.
  • Use alternate controllers like dance pads or MIDI instruments.
  • Create your own soundtrack – hook up to an analogue synthesizer via the headphone output and compose live music as you play along.

If you like what you see in the trailer then leave a comment below or on our Twitter @FMyth_Gaming.

Vectronom will be available for the Nintendo Switch and PC and Mac via Steam this Spring.
