A brand new trailer has been released by Lionsgate Games and nWay for their upcoming beat ’em up Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid. What makes this new trailer awesome is not just the brutal action from the 3 vs 3 battles but by the reveal of the full base roster of playable characters. You can watch this new trailer below…
There will be nine characters in the base roster and this new trailer reveals them and their devastating signature moves. The nine characters in the base game include Goldar, Ranger Slayer, Mastodon Sentry, Kat, Magna Defender, Gia, Jason, Tommy and Lord Drakkon (who was revealed earlier this month). More characters will be released in DLC packs in the future.
Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid does away with all the complicated attack patterns that are familiar to beat ’em up fans and instead provides a streamlined combat system with simplified controls that makes it easy to pick up and play for newcomers to the franchise and the genre. Seasoned beat ’em up veterans need not be concerned that the game isn’t for them as it maintains a depth that makes it a challenge for the dedicated pro to learn and master.
Players will be able to fight alongside, or take on their friends and other players around the world in the online multiplayer plus there will be opportunities to participate in online tournaments and missions throughout the year. For those wanting to test their skill against the AI, there will be a full story mode to work through.
Power Rangers: Battle For The Grid will be arriving on Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC this April.
