Dragon Quest Builders 2 arrives on Playstation 4

July 13, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Square Enix has announced the release of Dragon Quest Builders 2 on Playstation 4.  This standalone block building RPG will take players to an expansive world with near endless building possibilities.  See more in the brand new launch trailer below…

This sequel to 2016’s Dragon Quest Builders will have players take the role of a young apprentice builder who has washed up on the Isle of Awakening alongside a mysterious person called Malroth.  Players will need to become a Master Builder by exploring the islands, crafting items, defeating enemies and helping townsfolk.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 introduces online multiplayer, allowing up to four friends to play and build together.  There’s also other improvements over the original, including the ability to build bigger structures, travel the map by soaring, swimming and dashing, farming and more.

Fans can also purchase a season pass (included in the digital Deluxe Edition) which provides access to three DLC packs, these DLC packs will provide an assortment of extras such as recipes, hairstyles, clothing and all-new areas to explore.

Join Your Friends to Explore Islands, Build New Creations and Defeat Enemies in the Sequel to the Beloved Original Block-Building RPG! In a world where the evil Children of Hargon have outlawed building, cooking, and the creation of all things, YOU must defy this dastardly decree and save the world!

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is available for the Playstation 4 now.
