Pixel adventure Horace now available on Steam

July 22, 2019 by Andrew Newton

There’s nothing quite like the British sense of humour and thanks to 505 Games and developers Paul Helman and Sean Scaplehorn, this classic sense of humour can be enjoyed on PC (via Steam) in their pixel platforming adventure Horace.  This platformer has metroidvania-inspired abilities, challenging puzzles and difficult bosses to defeat.  See more of the game in the trailers below.

In this story-driven platformer, players will need to adventure across time and space to reunite the titular Horace with his long lost family and prevent the destruction of mankind.

Horace will use all the abilities his robot body can muster to run and jump through classic 2D platforming challenges and clean up the mess from the robot war, while also tackling parodies of classic mini games ranging from rhythm action to FPS.

Featuring:

  • A charming single player narrative.
  • A stunning 2D pixel world to discover.
  • Dozens of weird and wonderful characters.
  • Challenging platforming based puzzles.
  • 12 thrilling and difficult bosses to defeat.
  • 10 parodies of arcade classics to play.

Horace will bring a smile to gamers with it’s humour, pop culture references and emotional storytelling.  Download Horace from Steam now.
