Me and Earl and the Dying Girl star RJ Cyler has become the latest addition to the cast of the Power Rangers movie, with the official Twitter account revealing that he’s secured the role of Billy Cranston, a.k.a. The Blue Ranger.
Cyler’s casting follows yesterday’s news that Ludi Lin (Marco Polo, Monster Hunt) will play Zack Taylor/The Black Ranger, while the cast also features Naomi Scott (The Martian) as Kimberly Ann Hart/The Pink Ranger and Dacre Montgomery (Bertrand the Terrible) as Jason Lee Scott/The Red Ranger.
Power Rangers is set for release on January 13th 2017, with Dean Israelite (Project Almanac) directing from a script by Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class).
