December 27, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Indie mobile game studio Rarepixels has released an exciting new update for their hit mobile game 2 Minutes in Space.  This new update brings a new level that features a physics changes to players that will affect their survival out in space, players will also get an all-new spaceship to fly around in.

With the new update players will be able to take to the darkness of space in an all new spacecraft.  The new Blue Star spaceship is capable of shooting in 360 degrees and also comes with an escape pod, useful for fleeing from those otherwise deadly moments.

Players will also get to test their skills on the new level, Gravitational Field.  This level will have players having to survive a gravitational force similar to a black hole that will suddenly emerge out of the darkness and suck in any passing object, even their ship.

In 2 Minutes in Space players are tasked to survive the vacuum of space in several different spaceships each equipped with various lasers, guns or laser cannons.  Using these weapons and an assortment of power ups, including shields, EMPs and speed boosts, players will have to avoid the missiles sent by invisible enemies and the many asteroids.
