Illo: Help Armadillo Escape is now available on Android and iOS

January 11, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Spain based indie developer, Flick Mania games, has announced that they have released Illo: Help Armadillo Escape on Android and iOS devices.  The game is available to download for free now.

Illo: Help Armadillo Escape begins in the small coastal town of Zarautz in Spain, and it is here where players will first be required to flick the titular Illo off the back of the truck where he’s being held captive.  By continuing to flick him with your finger and avoiding letting him hit the floor, Illo can travel great distances.  Through flicking the armadillo, players can discover the beautiful locations of Zarautz, Madrid, Bilbao and even Piravik in Norway.  Continuing to flick Illo to safety will unlock skills that can get him even further away.

As players progress they will encounter obstacles which can either help or hinder them.  They will also be able to discover a number of different Easter eggs and mini games that will reference pop culture such as Game of Thrones and El Rubius.

Help your Armadillo escape from poachers, as you travel through beautiful landscapes and visit the cities of Zarautz, Bilbao, and Madrid.

Illo: Help Armadillo Escape is available now on Google Play and the App Store.
