Console players are now able to defend the Imperium in Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus

July 17, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Kasedo Games and Bulwark Studios has announced the release of their turn-based tactical game, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch.  Travel into the 41st millennium and take control of the mighty Adeptus Mechanicus and take on the ancient Necrons in their dark and dusty tombs.  Check out the console launch trailer below to see more of the troops, enemies and environments.

In Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus, lead the powerful Adeptus Mechanicus, its devoted Tech-Priests and the forces of Imperium troops on a mission to salvage ancient technologies from the mysterious tombs that lay beneath the surface of the planet Silva Tenebris. Explore the ancient and dusty tombs but be prepared to fight for survival as they are the home to the slumbering, mechanical, souless creatures known as Necrons.

The console release of the game also includes the Heretek DLC which brings to the light the darkness that runs through the Adeptus Mechanicus faction.  Face a cohort of heretek Tech-Priests (Tech-Priests that have turned their backs on the Emperor’s guiding light and sold themselves to the forces of Chaos) through five new missions using new disciplines, troops and unlockable firepower.

There’s also a special Omnissiah Edition which includes a digital artbook, an atmospheric soundtrack, a short story ‘Deus Ex Mechanicus’ by Andy Chambers and the hard-hitting melee weapon, the Arc Scourge.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is available now.
