The Producers Guild of America have announced the film and television nominations for the 2021 PGA Awards, whose top honour – the Darryl F. Zanuck Award – is widely regarded as the best indicator for the Best Picture category at the Academy Awards.
With that in mind, it’s good news for Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, Judas and the Black Messiah, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Mank, Minari, Nomadland, One Night in Miami, Promising Young Woman, Sound of Metal and The Trial of the Chicago 7, all of which find them in contention for the big prize.
