The Boys are going to have several new Supes to contend with when Amazon’s hit comic book adaptation returns for its third season, and after unveiling Jenson Ackles’ Soldier Boy earlier in the summer, the official Twitter account for The Boys has now shared a first look at Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) as Crimson Countess, complete with the caption “Payback’s a bitch” – seemingly confirming that a version Soldier Boy’s superhero team Payback will be assembling in season three.

The Boys season 3 sees the return of Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Tomer Capon, Laz Alonso, Karen Fukuhara, Antony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Erin Moriarty, Jessie Usher, Nathan Mitchell, Chace Crawford, Claudia Doumit, Colby Minifie, and Giancarlo Esposito, alongside series newcomers Laurie Holden (The Walking Dead) as Crimson Countess, Jensen Ackles (Supernatural) as Soldier Boy, Katia Winter (Sleepy Hollow) as Little Nina, Sean Patrick Flanery (Dexter) as Gunpowder, Nick Wechsler (Revenge) as Blue Hawk, and Miles Gaston Villanueva (Law & Order: True Crime: —The Menendez Murders) as Supersonic.
As yet, there’s no word on a premiere date for season three of The Boys, but the first two seasons are available to stream now on Amazon Prime.
