Stranger Things 4 gets explosive, horror-filled trailer

April 12, 2022 by EJ Moreno

When Robert Englund shows up to an 80s-themed horror show, you know things will get extra creepy. If the first trailer of Stranger Things 4 is anything to go by, we are in for just that, as this is a horror delight.

In the first look at the fourth season of Stranger Things, our favorite characters are in very different but equally challenging spots this time. Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Max enter high school in Hawkins. Will and Eleven spend time in California, trying to get used to their new life, but the war against the Upside Down is fast approaching. Elsewhere, Hopper is alive, but he’s imprisoned in Russia as teased. Although, it is a surprise to see him being forced to fight a Demogorgon with a group of soldiers.

The best part of the trailer is seeing Robert Englund debut as Victor Creel and the twisted Upside Down monster seemingly attached to him. The look for Englund is brilliant, and the Hellraiser-inspired creature is top-tier horror.

Check out the trailer here…

It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.

Stranger Things stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Sadie Sink as Max, Maya Hawke as Robin, Priah Ferguson as Erica Sinclair and Brett Gelman as Murray Bauman.

New additions to the cast four season four include Robert Englund, Tom Wlaschiha, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Nikola Djuricko, Jamie Campbell Bower, Eduardo Franco, Joseph Quinn, Amybeth McNulty, Myles Truitt, Regina Ting Chen, and Grace Van Dien.

Stranger Things 4 Vol. 1 will premiere on May 27th, while Vol. 2 will follow on July 1st.
