New trailer for Shudder’s Lovecraftian horror Glorious starring Ryan Kwanten and J.K. Simmons

August 5, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

With a little over two weeks to go until Glorious premieres on Shudder, a new trailer has been released for Rebekah McKendry’s Lovecraftian horror starring Ryan Kwanten and J.K. Simmons.

Described by our own Matt Rodgers as “Shutter Island in a shitter” in his ★★★★ review, the film sees Kwanten as a man locked inside a remote rest stop bathroom who finds himself unwillingly pulled into a situation more terrible then he could ever imagine. Watch the trailer below…

Spiraling out after a bad breakup, Wes (Ryan Kwanten) ends up at a remote rest stop miles away from civilization. His situation worsens after he finds himself locked inside the bathroom with a mysterious figure (J.K. Simmons) speaking to him from an adjacent stall. As Wes tries to escape, he finds himself an unwilling player in a situation bigger and more terrible than he could possibly imagine…

Glorious premieres on Shudder on August 18th.
