Ahead of its premiere on Disney+ this September, the streamer has released poster and trailer for its first UK Original series, the rom-com action thriller Wedding Season, which follows Katie (Rosa Salazar) and Stefan (Gavin Drea), an adulterous couple go on the run together while trying to prove their innocence when the groom and his entire family are murdered at a wedding.
The genre-busting series tells the story of Katie and Stefan who fall for each other at a wedding and begin an affair, despite Katie already having a fiancé. Two months later at Katie’s wedding, her new husband and his entire family are murdered. The police think Stefan did it. Stefan thinks Katie did it. And no one knows for sure what the truth is…
Joining Rosa Salazar and Gavin Drea in the cast are Jade Harrison, Jamie Michie, Callie Cooke, Bhav Joshi, Ioanna Kimbook, Omar Baroud and George Webster.
Wedding Season arrives on Disney+ and Hulu on September 8th.
