The latest gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 poses the question: “To konstruct time is to manipulate destiny. Can one change destiny?”
We get our first look at Geras in the upcoming game, making his return after his debut in Mortal Kombat 11. But under Liu Kang’s new timeline, Geras is no longer the evil man he once was. We get a fresh new take on the character, which seems to be the story of MK1 and its reinvention narrative.
The trailer also gave us more of a look at Liu Kang’s god-like status, offering fans a stunning look at one of the most insane fatalities in MK history.
The game features an insane roster of fan favorites, including Baraka, Geras, Johnny Cage, Kenshi, Kitana, Kung Lao, Li Mei, Liu Kang, Mileena, Raiden, Rain, Scorpion, Smoke, Sub-Zero, and Tanya. Check out the new trailer below…
