Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell to go on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey

February 8, 2024 by Ricky Church

Deadline has revealed that Margot Robbie (Barbie) and Colin Farrell (The Banshees of Inisherin) are set to star in A Big Bold Beautiful Journey from After Yang director Kogonada.

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey is described as “an imaginative tale of two strangers and the unbelievable journey that connects them.” The script was written by Seth Reiss (The Menu) with Imperative Entertainment producing.

The pair are coming off some big successes for themselves after Robbie’s Barbie dominated the box office last summer and has gone on to be nominated for several big awards at various ceremonies. Farrell, meanwhile, won Best Actor at the 2023 Golden Globes for his performance in The Banshees of Inisherin and was nominated at the Academy Awards for the same role. He is currently filming the Max series The Penguin, where he is reprising his The Batman role of Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin.

Production on A Big Bold Beautiful Journey will begin this spring in California.
