Halloween-set slasher Creeping Death carves out a trailer

August 28, 2024 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its digital release this September, a trailer and poster have arrived online for Creeping Death, the supernatural slasher from writer-director Matt Sampere which is based on his short film of the same name.

The film centres on Tim, a man trying to spend a quiet night in with his mother on Halloween after she was diagnosed with cancer, but when his friends show up at the door with a mysterious stack they have stolen, they discover they have unleashed a Celtic supernatural entity known as the the Aos Si and must work together to survive the night.

The cast includes Matt Sampere, Monique Parent, Alan Maxson, Delian Lincourt, Hunter Kohl, Ian Brown, Elise Rackemann, K Cody Hunt, Andy Horowitz, Jody Pucello and Scott Lea. Watch the trailer below…

Halloween was always Tim’s favorite holiday–until his mother was diagnosed with brain cancer. Now, all he wants is a quiet night in. That is quickly disrupted when his friends pay him an unwanted visit, after stealing a mysterious sack from the doorstep of a local crazy. This sacrilegious act unleashes the Aos Si, a Celtic spirit that walks the Earth on Halloween. They must band together and survive the night or make the ultimate offering–their lives–this Halloween, all who trick are treats.

Creeping Death streams on Screambox from September 10th.
