Overlord’s Ainz Ooal Gown coming to mobile gamers with Lord of Nazarick

September 18, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Crunchyroll and A Plus Japan have announced that their mobile turn-based RPG Lord of Nazarick will be coming to the English speaking world this autumn, roughly around the time OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom arrives in cinemas. Based on the hit Overlord anime, Lord of Nazarick will take players to a world where forces battle for dominance.  Watch the new trailer below….

In Overlord Momonga has had 12 years of playing his favourite MMORPG, he’s built up a mighty character with a mighty kingdom but when he logs in for the last time before the game is closed he suddenly finds himself transported into its world and into the avatar of his character, the Sorcerer King Ainz Ooal Gown.

Lord of Nazarick will allow players to experience the main story from a brand-new perspective with all-new canon scenarios where players command their forces in battle.  There are over 50 different characters from the anime to recruit, including guardians, pleiades and more, plus there will be more released in the future thanks to regular updates.

Players will be able to build a party of fan-favourite characters from across 5 different classes and 3 unique attributes and use these to follow the main storyline, take on roguelite dungeons, tackle boss challenges and mini-games.

Features:

  • Stunning 3D high-quality animation that captures the world of Overlord.
  • Explore the world and visit iconic locations from the anime, including Great Tomb of Nazarick, Carne Village, E-Rantel and more.
  • Create a legendary alliance with friends or join an existing alliance.
  • Challenge other players in PVP combat and climb the leaderboard, while earning rewards on the way.

When Lord of Nazarick launches it will be the first game to fully implement Crunchyroll Login, this is a new feature that Crunchyroll Premium members can use.  Simply log in as the Crunchyroll Premium member and receive special rewards, such as in-game currency, a battle pass and exclusive access to activations across other Crunchyroll endeavours.

Look out for Lord of Nazarick arriving on Android and iOS devices this autumn.
