Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed hits PC and consoles with launch trailer

October 18, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Outright Games’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed launches today on PC and consoles and will be providing Turtles fans with action-packed fights against the rising Mewbie threat in New York City.  A new launch trailer (see below) provides a peek at the action to come and, as usual, is in the style of April’s ‘O’News’ broadcast.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed provides an original storyline that continues on from Paramount Pictures’ 2023 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and sees our half-shell heroes, Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo, taking on an all-new wave of mutants.

In this latest title of the Turtle’s franchise, players jump into the shells of the four heroes and set out to discover the mysterious individual that is behind a new type of menace that is wreaking havoc across New York City.  There’s ten brand-new mutants (or ‘mewbies’) to face off against with each having 5 varying forms of mutation.  Players will be able to use the Turtle’s unique weapons and combat styles, such as Donatello’s bō staff-wielding prowess.

The game features an expansive map with a distinct New York feel that will pull players into the world of the Turtles as they travel around iconic locations for the main campaign, including the Turtles’ Sewer Lair. As well as the main story, players will be able to travel the map on side quests, to search for hidden graffiti, to take on Dojo challenges, help April in creating her ‘O’News’ broadcasts and much more.

The voice actors for the titular brothers make a return to the game, with Nicolas Cantu as Leonardo, Brady Noon as Raphael, Micah Abbey as Donatello and Shamon Brown Jr. as Michelangelo.  As well as our four heroes, players can also meet other fan-favourite characters, like April, Master Splinter and Bebop and Rocksteady who are adjusting to living a non-criminal lifestyle in the city.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
