Tower of God: New World update introduces new characters and holiday event

December 20, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Netmarble is celebrating the festive season with a brand-new update for their collectible card game RPG, Tower of God: New World.  This update will allow players to join in multiple events, receive generous rewards and meet two new teammates.  You can meet these new teammates in the new trailers below…

This latest update for Tower of God: New World introduces SSR+ [Revolution] Twenty-Fifth Bam (Blue element, Mage, Wave Controller). This chap possesses a powerful orb called Black Shinsu and a second Thorn.  By summoning a Triple Orb, he is able to cast Stardust which causes a star explosion over where most of the enemies are located.  The other new teammate is SSR [Ice Spear] Khun Aguero (Yellow element, Assassin, Spearbearer), who managed to gain his ice elemental powers whilst carrying out training on the Secret Floor. Khun is able to throw an Ice Spear at the furthest enemy causing Frost upon them. Players can earn Khun Aguero by challenging and clearing a sector of the new ‘Data Tower’.

Until 2nd January, players can take part in the following events.

  • Holiday Story Event [Silent Night! Holy Night!] – enjoy a new story and stages to earn a variety of items, including SSR+ Tower’s Blessing Break Stones, Growth Resource Selection Chests and more.
  • Ranker Race – A competition to clear as many stages as possible. The fastest time determines the rankings and Rankers’ Tokens and other rewards can be earned.
  • Khun’s Wishing Card – Choose cards to uncover 3 matching decorations and earn gifts like Evan’s new holiday-themed costume ‘Holiday Request’.
  • TapTap Plus – Tap the Bam Doll to gain rewards. Each tap increases the reward grade.
  • Holiday Celebration Minigame ‘Climb the Tower’ – Generous rewards can be gained by playing this Christmas themed special minigame.

Other new additions are festive costumes for Twenty-Fifth Bam (Tree Fairy on the Beach), Khun Aguero (Santa on the Beach), and Adventure Floors from 141 to 145.

Tower of God: New World is available from the App Store, Google Play and for PC via Google Play Games Beta.
