New Evercade carts and Super Pocket NEOGEO Edition handheld pre-orders launch

April 2, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Evercade’s ever-expanding library of cartridges is set to increase again this summer as Blaze Entertainment announce several new titles are now available for pre-order.  The Gremlin Collection 2, Windjammers, Karnov & Friends, and NEOGEO collections will bring plenty of new games for owners of any Evercade console to enjoy, while the Super Pocket NEOGEO Edition offers retro gaming on the go.  Watch the new trailers below….

The Gremlin Collection 2 brings four classic 32-bit titles from the legendary, beloved developer, Gremlin Interactive.  This cartridge arrives in June and includes the brutal, top-down, run-and-gun shooter Loaded and it’s sequel Re-Loaded. There’s the turn-based strategy Hogs of War, with voice acting from the late, great Rik Mayall, and finally, the exciting off-road racer Buggy.

The Windjammers, Karnov & Friends Collection is part of the purple-coloured arcade game line and is also scheduled for release in June. Players who purchase this collection can enjoy the fast-paced side scroller Atomic Runner Chelnov, the classic fore-breathing platformer Karnov, Windjammers for some competitive disc throwing, Vapor Trail: Hyper Offence Formation for those who like their vertical shooters and the side-scrolling mech shooter Rohga: Armor Force.

NEOGEO Arcade 1 celebrates the 35th Anniversary of NEOGEO with six legendary SNK titles and will be available to pre-order from 1st May.  This collection includes the brilliant Metal Slug, The King of Fighters, Sengoku, Shock Troopers, Magician Lord and Ironclad.

And finally, also available for pre-order from today and arriving in June is the Super Pocket NEOGEO Edition. This is a brand-new handheld that celebrates SNK’s arcade legacy with 14 preloaded classic NEOGEO games.  These include:

  • Alpha Mission II
  • Blazing Star
  • Fatal Fury Special
  • King of the Monsters 2: The Next Thing
  • Last Resort
  • Metal Slug X
  • Mutation Nation
  • Over Top
  • Samurai Shodown II
  • Sengoku 3
