The upcoming fifth season of Hulu’s mystery comedy Only Murders in the Building has added Beanie Feldstein (Booksmart) to its growing cast.
The fifth season, which is currently in production, will pick up from the season four cliffhanger after the Arconia’s faithful and friendly doorman Lester was found murdered in the complex’s courtyard.
Feldstein will have a recurring role as she joins fellow newcomers Jermaine Fowler, Renée Zellweger, Christoph Waltz, Téa Leoni, Keegan-Michael Key and Logan Lerman for Charles, Oliver and Mabel’s new case.
The series stars Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez as the main trio with Michael Cyril Creighton as their fellow Arconia resident and helper Howard as well as Meryl Streep as Loretta, now Oliver’s wife.
Only Murders in the Building recently won a SAG award for its ensemble cast for the fourth season as well as Short winning for Outstanding Performance in a comedy series. Throughout its four season run it has been nominated for several other awards from various awards ceremonies and has won quite a few, including for Streep’s performance in her introductory season.
Only Murders in the Building is currently in production in New York.
