Ahead of its arrival on Prime Video this May, a trailer has arrived online for the dystopian drama The Assessment.
The film centres on a couple as they go through a strict 7 day assessment in order to gain the right to have a child in a near future where parenthood is controlled.
Directed by Fleur Fortuné, the cast includes Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Olsen, Himesh Patel, Minnie Driver, Indira Varma, Nicholas Pinnock, Charlotte Ritchie, and Leah Harvey.
In the near future where parenthood is strictly controlled, a couple’s seven-day assessment for the right to have a child unravels into a psychological nightmare, forcing them to question the very foundations of their society and what it truly means to be human.
